    An interesting link, especially for us locals. Thanks tadworth.
    As of June this year the cinema was still there. The security fencing was virtually non-existant so:

    I was there for a WW2 open weekend but couldn't resist the temptation for possibly the last chance to see the old WW2 cinema. The car parking was right by it and there was nothing to prevent you from walking around.

    Incidentally the main reason I was there was to have a flight in this:

    There are/were also several small air raid shelters particularly on the domestic side of the airfield, but I didn't have time to check if they were still there. There are a couple of pillboxes one right in the active part of the airfield, so completely inaccessible. Also a ROC post outside the present airfield perimiter to the 'west'
    Remember that this is an active airfield so trespass is not wise.

    This is very much still in use. Now known as "Wolverhampton Business Airport". Most of the buildings are in use by small businesses.
    No dereliction, im afraid.

    Nice picture of a De Havilland Dragon Rapide.That one was built in 1944 at Brush Coachworks .
