Ok, so here's my first post! :)

On this visit to RAF Upottery I decided that as it's such an expansive site I would just concentrate on the old watch office.

RAF Upottery (Smeathorpe) was built in 1944 and used mainly by the RAF, USAAF and the US navy as a transport airfield. It was closed in 1948 and is now mainly used for agriculture.

The airfield was made famous in 2001 when it appeared in the tv min-series, Band of Brothers.

I will upload more pictures from the airfield soon. I hope you all enjoy and thanks for looking! :)
