    November 2014 Visit

Visiting for my second time, this time on my own unlike last month when I visited with Shimmy. I started the day with a visit to Park Hall Farm across to road this is an abandoned mansion that was abandoned nearly 5 years ago (I'll post the photo's in a separate post). My first having arrived in the park later then originally planned I immediately stumbled upon 3 other explorers outside the main entrance who had just been escorted out of the park. We had a quick chat between ourselves and exchanged a few tips on making our way around the park. Having already seen Secca patrolling the park (Rather then just the Knightmare) I hadn't got much hope of managing to get all the photos that I wanted, but I Pushed on and managed to walk straight in through an open gate (talk about easy). Anyway I made my way down towards what would have been the Log Flume that sadly I missed on my last visit, I was very surprised to see that most of the area didn't even appear to once hold a ride (Let alone that it was only removed last year. The only remains of it was the leftover 'Vinal" from the bottom of the main pool. From here I ventured deeper into the park, trying to make minimal noise as I went as I was were that I could only be a few feet away from Secca, Upon venturing underneath the Roundtable Restaurant I could hear footsteps on the floor above me, so I took shelter in one of the toilet cubicles for a good 5-10 mins. After they had passed I presided towards the Knightmare (After all it was the main reason for the re visit). Passing through 'Bluebell Bottom' it was apparent that the vandals had been in since our last visit just 2 weeks ago. Heading up the hill towards the food court I noticed the Secca car so made my way around them keeping low, I managed to make it to the Animal Kingdom, this area seems to be neglected by explorers as there is never really any photographs posted.
After making my way around this area I made my way over to the Knighmare, this was a real treat for me as I had waned to visit the park mainly because of this coster since it's closure in 2012. I managed to make my way to the rear of the station, and to my surprise the trains had been removed :mad. I took a lot of shots of the ride and very nearly ascended the lift hill (but decided not to with Secca so close). The final part of my journey ended up with me being escorted out of the park, I really wanted a photo of the front of the 'Dungeon of Doom' so I decided to venture closer to the front of the ride in a hope to get the shot without being seen. But sadly I wasn't fast enough and was seen, I attempted to hide but It was pointless, I had been caught and I wasn't in the mood to run. So I put my hands at head height. (Surprisingly I saw that he was filming me) but as we got close to each other he put the camera down and I put my arms down. I presume it was for his own protection :). We had a quick chat, I explained that I wasn't there to vandalise of steal anything, he looked at my camera and nodded. He did say that I would have to leave and he escorted me to a set of blue access gates at the back of the maintenance area by the Spinning Coaster plot. As I was leaving I apologised and shook his hand, he was a really nice chap, just doing his job :thumb.
