    The History!
Rougham hall manor house buried deep within woodlands.
The hall was built and owned by the Bennet family from 1596-1889 on the site of former Jacobean manor.
The last inhabitants,we're the Agnew family until the house was bombed during ww2,and suffered extensive damage.the clock tower remains at the time it was struck.
The family still own the estate and it's neighbouring airfield.
The west tower has sadly been demolished but the stable block remains, and has been converted into housing and currently resided in by the gamekeeper.
The actual manor has remained derelict since 1975.

    The explore.
I know this has been done many times, but what a beautiful place.
Visited this one with 2 others.
We headed off into the woods and we're stomping around when ahead we noticed the pheasant pens, and red brick steps, found it!
We started snapping away. There was pheasants flapping about, and big holes to look out for,but it is such a tranquil place.
Started getting dark so navigated our way out.well worth a visit if in area.
    Enjoy!
