    History
The Royal Hospital Haslar, completed in 1762, was built to provide a dedicated military hospital for the Royal Navy. Set in over 60 acres of beautiful parkland, with many Georgian Grade II listed buildings and a prime seafront location, Haslar has a long tradition of delivering care and well-being to its residents. In November 2009 the Ministry of Defence (MoD) sold the site to OurEnterprise, a company dedicated to a community-led regeneration.Today the Royal Haslar site extends to approximately 62 acres of land and comprises approximately 75,000 square meters of buildings. Eighteen buildings on the site are either Grade II or II* listed.

    The Visit
Started off as a very early morning explore with JdotN15 and a local non member. As we arrived at the site in complete darkness we started making our way towards an access point which we knew was accessible. As we were about 10ft away, we walked round the corner and came face to face with an oversized black figure with a torch. As I heard JdotN15 say 'run' I knew we had an eventful morning ahead of us. As we found a safe hiding spot we waited out for 15/30 minutes before the non-member climbed back over for our second attempt. As we passed our bags over, we saw a black figure emerging in the distance and heard a "fuck stay there". We heard him run off with all our stuff. JdotN15 and I waited for the non member to return but 45 minutes passed and we knew he'd been caught. So we bailed to find him outside with a very angry security guard. Off we went to maccys to figure out another plan and returned an hour later when it was starting to get light. A different point of access took us straight to where we had to be and before we knew it, we were in! After spending a good 4/5 hours in there we had all our pictures and left to be met by the same security man on the way out... Great! First he told us he was taking us back to his hut to wait for the police to come so we thought (fuck that) and just left. He followed us 15 minutes down the road to take down my car reg but he got bored very quickly when he figured out we were taking him on a nice leisurely stroll. We then made our smooth escape.

    The pictures - pic heavy
