Hi a mate as just posted on fb about these odd caves and engravings. When I question where they were from, this is the reply... 'Sweeps cave, or old kitchen & the hermits cave'! Allegedly it used to have a bench in there for people to admire the views over the Roman baths at the bottom of the hill! Check the site the lost gardens of Rusthall

    sorry cant upload pics?? newbie....

It would be helpful to include a link to the website you mention and also a more precise location.

You can't upload pics, you have to do this [IMG]

Good info from Alley, could I also suggest posting this in leads and rumours but complete with images etc as it helps to keep the
    joint clean and tidy.
EDIT..Cheers for the input mate but this thread has been moved into leads and rumours for you.

There's a few interesting caves/follies round T Wells, Langton Green, Groombridge - the ones you've linked to are good to see but probably wouldn't make a report for here. Keep looking though, there's some good ones

Being local these are not an explore by any stretch of the imagination. The tunnels in T-Wells (not Grove Tunnel) are in Mount Ephtaim and are Vine Vaults. I think they are or have been developed as part of a shop. Are you local MrG68.? I can point you in the direction of a few local sites of interest..
