Report - Ryhope burn, Sunderland, April 2015

    Came across this by accident, while checking something else.
    Lost tripod on first, so had too visit here twice.

    The Ryhope burn runs from the A19 (west) to Ryhope (east),
    length of about 2 miles.
    Theres 4 culverts,
    2 & 4 are brick arch while 1 is corrugated & 3 is flat concrete sections.

    walk miles too find this and its a bloody corrugated pipe with a grill

    Looks like it's a very long walk indeed. Good report though, plenty of different sections to see.

    about 2 miles through water & heavy vegatation,
    too find first culvert with a grill across. :mad:

    abit, the worst part was the stoop on the 2nd half of the last culvert
    worth the effort tho.
