I hooked up with Gone and Syndiccells in Manchester with the intention of going to meet Appo and a few of his mates. So after a few hours of 8 of us busting easy rooftops in Manchester, the 3 of us remained...

Sackville Street Building is a Grade II Listed Building, on Whitworth Street in Manchester. It was built out of Burmantof's terracota, and was opened in 1902. It is now part of The University Of Manchester. It is a fantastic building, the architecture is awesome, and so is the rooftop.
    History here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sackville_Street_%28Manchester%29

The decision to do this was quickly made, and after a recce, we started to climb... The views were good from up here and i was now quite chilled, but then after about half an hour of being on the roof, 3 figures appeared.. I dropped to the floor as did Syndiccells, with Gone still in full view.
" We a had a good run " is all i could say, whilst the 3 figures walked over to us. Thank god! They had tripods and bags, It was Theflu24, Leaf and a mate of theirs! These 3 vent sniffing ninjas, had me thinking we were receiving a visit from manchester's finest.
After their arrival we stayed on the top roof for a bit, then we decided to go and have a look around the main rooftop and the observatory, Wow. The telescope in there was quality!
So in total, we were up here for 2 and a half hours or so, and explored nearly every inch of the rooftop and scaffolding, and i have to say... It was quality.

Big up to everyone involved, especially Gone and Syndiccells, for a great night! And also Thank You to Syndiccells for the lift home at half 1 this morning, I appreciate it mate!

    Some pictures..

After hitting a couple of roof tops out in town NickUK, Gone and myself checked out the old UMIST building on Sackville Street as there was some fairly substantial scaff up. UMIST is now part of Man Uni.

The climb up was pretty hairy with the highlight being us absolutely bricking it when we were at on the highest part of the building and seeing four shadows moving towards us... especially as Gone reckoned security for Man Uni are fairly on the ball. Ended up being 4 lads from Wales on an explore as well.

Really spectacular roof, lots of difference layers withy loads of technical bits and pieces, including what looked to be a full functional space telescope.
