Sorry this one is a tad late, been super busy lately!

    History

The hospital closed in 2012 upon completion of the new Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Relocation of the first services from Selly Oak began during the summer of 2010 when its A&E department moved to the new Q.E.Hospital on 16 June and over the next 7 days Critical Care and other departments moved step-by-step the 1.5 miles to the new hospital. On average one inpatient was moved every 5 minutes between 7 am and early evening.

It is slowly becoming demolished, bit by bit, So far the A&E Blocks and the majority of the wards have been demolished or are in the process of being demolsihed sadly. It is to make way for a new hosuiong development as per usual.

    The Explore
After reading a few reports and speaking to a few other members about this place, myself and fellow member Jed, decided to go to a couple of places in and around Birmingham. We park up, mask up and get the camera's ready. Once we get inside the grounds, we notice booby traps to make loud noises but we stepped over them.

Having been previously warned about secca on site, it was time to break out some serious stealth moves learned especially for this explore a few days prior. Crawling. Yes, crawling along the wet, dog shit ridden, used condom thrown, semen covered floor to eventually find secca had f*cked off for the day.

    Yep...

Anyway. We walk around the vast majority of the site, get into a lot of the admin buildings only to find that what we think were the wards and A&E departments under rubble. :(

We saw a construction worker look up at us from site and we immediatly hit the floor. - I mean, really. Hit the floor. It hurt - but we weren't foiled in out efforts! With that we thought we'd outstayed our welcome - walked back past the security office :wanker and swiftly made our exit avoiding any booby traps. Enjoy the pics, sorry there aren't that many!
