Shadwell Park in Norfolk is listed in the top 3% of listed buildings in England. Once described as a “Gothic Extravaganza”, the house sits empty under a recently restored roof but very few people have seen inside and it is said to be slowly deteriorating inside. It’s a beautiful place. We were able to access a linked cottage, the outer courtyard and two stable blocks, including a tack room.

I'm guessing it's me who thinks these are over processed? Maybe my phone . . . .

    Good report all the same

Went up today, book it looks pretty secure and can see where the latest break in has been boarded up... Would like to go back again, only more prepared. We noticed a lot of cameras and wires, did any alarms go off? Also how far did you manage to get into the house, was it only the back rooms round the back?? Cheers

We didn't get into the main house. It was secure and we think it's been wired up since the roof repairs were completed. We only managed to get into the cottage and the two stable sections out the back. DOn't think the external cameras are working. We wandered in front of the one in the courtyard and nothing happened.
