It's just an idea at the min sadly. The current owner is still trying to build his houses on but the council for a change seem to be on the side of the public though so hopefully he won't be allowed.

I was on the bike trails next to it last week and always nip on to see if I can take on Steve Peats track he started to build at the side of the main slope (was about to open before it was burnt down) and it really does look worse every time I see it.

I really hope that they do opt for the new ski slope. Although it currently provides for great exploration(which we all love), a new ski village will provide lots of new jobs and will bring lots of business to Sheffield, not to mention, giving kids something to do.

Plus, I never got to go to the village when it was open so i'd love to see a new one :)
