This building really inspired me to come back and do it justice with some better quality pics.

My original (rather rushed) report is here:

Still working in the area, i decided to strike whilst the iron was hot, so it only took me a week to return! Being so far from home, it was once again going to be a solo explore, being without my usual exploring amigos (Markymark and Montstar) is a weird experience. As everyone knows, its not just the explore you do together, its the planning, the build up, the journey, etc etc. You share the excitement when you get a good explore, and similarly you share the frustration when its not to great!

Luckily this massive ship hall is a great explore, and you very quickly get engrossed in capturing its vastness to get too carried away with the feeling of being lonely!

I've found an excellent site, detailing the history of the building, and also the whole yard that it is built within:

Highlights from the website detail the last two decades of struggle:
I can say from first hand experience that things are looking up for the yard! hopefully they manage to get the contract to build sections of the (now delayed) carriers. If this happened then it would more than likely take place is this great ship hall...................
