Ok, there's been a couple of reports already but seeing as ive been twice in as many weeks and probably spent near on 6hours mooching round the place.... well what the hell, lets have another!

Il spare you the history lesson. The site is basically a large technical college with buildings built between the turn of the century and the 1960s. A good mix of ages and styles and most importantly alot of OLD stuff hidden away to find. The photos show some of the 'main events' but in reality exploring this place is much more about the massive amount of behind the scenes hidden areas that pupils would never have seen. Theres boiler houses, basements, hidden sub levels, tunnels secret pipe runs and cubby holes. All the things that make exploring fun and the most important thing.. They are all full of old stuff to rummage through! We found chemistry equipment by the van load, drawers and drawers of engineering and carpentry tools, 1950s educational displays, some stuff dating back to the 1930s or older. Unfortunately due to the size of the place and being a bit tight for time on both visits i didn't get any particularly decent photos of the dark bits but thats a bonus for you really as when you make a trip it will be like a proper explore rather then el tourismo.. :thumb
