    Hi

I'm looking at getting a used Sony slr a320 with an 18-55mm lens as I'm relatively new to urban exploring and was wondering if anybody could advise whether it is advisable for an entry level camera?

Ideally I'm looking to spend less than £100 on something which I can experiment with until I'm a little more experienced with different aspects of photography before moving onto something more advanced.

If anybody has had or uses one of these cameras then I would be interested to see the achievable results that can be achieved and whether I should get one or purchase something else?

    Any help appreciated.

If you can get one for £100 you're onto a winner really. It's an SLR, and does SLR things.

I used to use an A300 and it was a cracking camera until it went swimming

See if CEX have a Pentax K-r in stock. They do em from around £100 with kit lens, with 2yr warranty. Absolute belter of a little camera, much better specced than the A230 which is about as cheap and basic as DSLRs get.
