Visited solo on beautiful spring day, an hour late thanks to rail replacement buses, and tried to see as much as possible in the 4 hours I had.

Thanks AndrewB for a bit of helpful advise, but I forgot most of it as much feet touched the floor on the interesting side of the fence!

Just to keep things interesting the secca had changed vehicle so on my way in I walked straight passed (10 meters from) a white van proclaiming "SiXT" van hire. I assumed it had been dumped on site since there was no one in it and carried on by without giving it another thought. Once inside I noticed that it was doing laps and realised how lucky I'd been ;)

A bit of history for you, gratefully lifted from Alex Poole:

As you'd expect, Rank Hovis came first...

Then after enjoying the sun from the roof for a few minutes it was leap o'clock! Millenium Mills time!

A quick shot from the roof towards the dome while I got back out in the fresh spring air!

I thought this was an interesting bit of info to find on the back of a door...

I took this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to take a photo of the fan while it wasn't spinning.

Then with the security having a cig on the other side of the bush behind me I got a quick external - best I could do with him about again!

Bloody good day, and while I'm not sure if Pyestock will have me back any time soon I'm already itching to get back into MM and see it all over again!

    Thanks for reading
