After spending about 3 hours trying and failing to access an epic looking spinning mill in Austria, we headed for this alternative, a bit like settling for beans on toast when you'd had been looking forward Fillet Steak, foie gras and caviar served by a buxom wench, never mind though you can't win em all eh, and besides, i like beans on toast.

This was still worth a wander and was quite photogenic in places,a decent sized mill on 3 floors and a grand old house in the grounds.

I can't really find much in the way of history................Visited with Host

Built in 1853 this old spinning mill supplied the cotton industry of Austria, producing textiles, cotton thread and Börtelfarbrik with a bleaching and dyeing operation.
