    My very first report here is my personal favorite.
    After visiting this one I'm suffering from the Stahlwerk-syndrome (similar to the Stockholm-syndrome) and so I feel homesick, I dream about this and I want to go back ...
    Hope you enjoy my pictures! ;)

    Some great Pics there, looks like a truly stunning place to explore. Any history on this place at all? A quick Google search tells me this maybe to do with Welding? Would be good to know a bit about the place but still, great report nonetheless

    It's brilliant there isn't it! We spent a whole day and I'd happily spend a few more yet.

    @Lil'Legs
    This site was a traditional steel mill. During its heyday, they employed over 9000 people.
    It was the last steel plant of Bavaria with a conventional blast furnace. Steel production finally ceased in 2002.

    It's an addictive site! We spent 8 hours there and I really want to go back...
