Had a visit from a mate from nottingham and decided to go and take at look in wilmslow. He needed some footage for his uni and we were purely up for the buzz..

They were playin rugby in the field right next to the site, we just walked past and then 'disappeared' behind a bush :) we went through the usual 'entrances'.. didnt seem to be any security, but there was a fiesta parked there in the front..

Stamford Lodge Mar'07 REPORT Number 2.

I went down there, I'm assuming the same evening as the OP, with userscott and r1. It was the first time I've been and at a first glance I was impressed. Nice large site. Disappointing how wrecked it has become, but considering it's been standing for 9 years (?) it's not suprising. Apparently it's been further trashed since it was visited recently by userscott and r1. Anyway, here's some pics. Managed to steal a compact digi-cam - please excuse the dates and times, I don't have a clue how to turn them off.

    Wreckage:
There isn't a room in the building that hasn't been torn apart. The ceilings have been ripped open and the piping stolen.

    Document Storage

    Remnants:
This small room was filled with tons of old Ilford photography film and bleach and also bottles and bottles of other chemicals (not related to photography)

    Cold Storage

    Apparently Obligatory Gauge Shot

    A Bit of History

I don't want to start a riot or a massive moral debate. However I found the following photgraphic documents well, a tad interesting. And they satiated my desire for a little brutal honesty from the place. I am linking to them rather than posting the pictures because I would rather people have the choice of viewing them. These were found on the floor of a storage room. The room was also filled with hundreds of slides.

    Three Photographs

    Two Photographs

    Negative Reactions

    Two Slides and One Photograph
