The weather has been great this week so with some time off work, a bit of exploring had to be done!

The entrance to Supercharger Part A couldn't be much easier and we were soon underground.
Judging by some of the wierdos we passed in the local area, below ground seemed perhaps safer.

A few scallies have ventured in the first few feet to scrawl on the walls.

Looking back to the entrance after a little walk.

A nice modern side chamber with steps up to a manhole which traffic was constantly pounding over.
Seemed like an excessive structure for such a small side pipe.

At the end of Part A the brook flows under a short bridge and then enters Part B.

This shows it from the other side back in 1911, it has hardly changed.

Just round the corner is a dumpster, children's buggy, a couple of bikes and loads of other crap.

After this is a 4 foot waterfall which in all the kerfuffle of climbing down without slipping up, I forgot to take a picture of.
After the waterfall the tunnel becomes wide and high.

A little further down, a sewer crosses overhead at a right angle to the culvert and a tempting tunnel on the right leads to a smelly CSO chamber.
The screening equipment in this chamber is filthy and appears to be quite blocked up with shite.

A good walk and the culvert turns a corner before light can be seen in the distance.

Finally the nice winter sun reflects off the water onto the ceiling at the outfall.
To the right, is another encounter with a sewer overflow.
