Myself and a group of likely lads visited a few mines over the bank holiday. I had never seen Swan before so we took that in first. The cranes are lovely, only bettered by the ones in Box.

Next up was Brewers yard, which actually blew me away. I cant understand why more people do not make the effort with Brewers, it is one of the best stone quarrys I have seen. Piles and piles of cut stone, 1880's graffiti and many artifacts remain. The cut stone staircase to the lower level really is a thing of beauty! There is also piles of 50's prams, bikes and other crap which was thrown down the shaft before it was capped.

Cracking day out, cheers to Tucker and Urban "ashtray" Junkey.
