This is obviously a well known site now, but isn't too far from me and with the current rumours going around, it'd have been a shame to miss out. I covered almost the entire site except for one of the wings and the chapel due to lack of time. Due to this being a little last minute, this was a solo trip.

The majority of the site is now boarded up at ground level and metal fencing encompassing the entire site, and there are multiple cameras.

Very recent signs of building/sealing works are evident all around the site but no-one was present when I visited. I don't know the future of this site, but I would strongly advise anyone who has not yet seen it to go now. These posters are plastered all over the place.

The admin block is generally in a much better state of repair than the rest of the site, with lots of nice wood and detail everywhere.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere of this place, and would encourage others to go.

I'll be going back soon to check out the parts I missed.
