Day one of a 3 night tour of Belgium, visted with 3 non 28DL members.

The day began travelling by Eurostar to Brussels, where mid afternoon we picked up the shiny new hire car which by day 3 we had killed......

With only a limited amount of daylight left we opted for a couple of quick wins to start what later became known as the "Splash,Snore,Crash tour" and headed to a place which has become known in exploring cirlcles as Tree Mansion - no history other than an abandoned farmhouse besides a rather busy road, i know some of you are not fond of residentials but both had a real lost in time feel about them and was an enjoyable couple of hours before light faded.

We then piled back into the car and made the shortish drive to "Tapioca Farm" again no history just a rather charming abandoned farmhouse in a more rural setting, the exterior looks in poor shape but the inside is pretty much untouched by vandals and thieves, the place is watched over by the nosey neighbours around it ......

As we lost the light we cleared off and went to feed our faces, once it was properly dark we headed back out to scope out our sleeping arrangements for the night.
Once we found our entry point we went back to the car to get our gear and headed into the grounds, after a couple of minutes walking up the path the electronic security gates open and a van entered driving towards us, 2 went right and hid, myself and another went left down a bank and straight into a 3 feet deep stream, once the van had passed we emerged, soaked and with a twisted ankle headed for our "Hotel" for the night.
Out of the wet clothes and into my only spares the 4 of us settled down for the night in a small dusty basement room, unfortunately one of the group had a snore that could wake the dead, so 3 of us had pretty much fuck all sleep whilst we waited for sun up and the chance to shoot our next location.

    More to follow........

    Cheers for looking :thumb
