While browsing flickr I came across shots of what looked like a large manor house with a stunning staircase. I new they explored with Bug Superstar. So I checked out the forum and luckily it was posted on here. Terrys? I thought it was empty. I wasn't sure if the post was a bum steer the skylight is not visible on google earth. I took a punt and off I went at 3am. Not planned that well access was quite easy and I was bloody early, hanging around for the sun to rise. Nice views from the roof and clock tower though.
The large art deco site opened in 1926 and made great chocolate until 2005 when it finally stopped production at the cost of around 300 jobs.

Think i"m the only one that clocked on at 6AM with Secca though ;)

As for the 2nd time, we"d already got busted at York Minster (after getting inside) and finally doing the Convent both disasters of epic proportions and WTF"s to last a lifetime and Terry"s just topped the pair of them. If it"d been Videoed you wouldn"t believe your eyes :popcorn:wanker

    Anyway 3rd time lucky.....maybe ;)

So we were told mate. But then one who cannot be named on here parked on the double yellow lines outside and climbed up in view of CCTV camera whilst being in the spotlight and Drunks shouting abuse at use as they wandered past, and that was before the clusterfuck started

Hiking boots don"t like that green mesh fencing :banghead

The Secca were very nice to be fair. And had massive grins on their faces escorting 3 blokes out who were too busy swearing at each other to care by then :crazy

Nice shots there. It was a nice little find this. It is always good when a previously written off site gives a little bit more too.
