Towering at 50m this was previously the tallest building in reading, so had had my eye on this one for a long time now. Had already taken a number of trips resulting in little more than first floor access, so after reading it was nearly topped recently i just had to have another attempt. Sadly security had done a very quick job at re-sealing the stairwells and going just 4 days after a report they were open everything was locked up tight again.

Refusing to give up that easily we returned the next week, finding a somewhat creative route not only into the building but reached right up onto the rooftop. The amazing view was well worth all the effort, especially at sunset.
