BEDHAM CHURCH

[Nr Petworth, West Sussex]

My 15 year old daughter has been studying Photography as a GCSE and expressed an interest in ruins of old structures and the decay as nature starts to take back. I decided to take her here as it is a fairly easy and harmless place to access. Not the easiest place to find but worth the effort. Didn't see another person or vehicle while we here. The woods were full of birdsong with the trees and undergrowth starting to green up but the ground was quite claggy due to the ridiculous amount of rain we have had recently. Sad to see since the last entry made about this location that the vandals have returned and there is now further structural damage. I won't regurgitate the history of this location as it has been well covered in other threads and I can't really add to what has already been said. Enjoy...

Lovely little set of ruins, there’s something so solemn about church and monastery ruins, it’s beautiful

Hi. Few things.. the title needs a date of visit please. There are also some duplicate images - could you remove these? Cheers
