Well, I took up Minicab's offer (
) of a visit to this great looking building as my first 'explore'.
I've lived in the area pretty much all my life and in Farnborough for the last 12 years so will be sad to see this place go - it's always been eyecatching and I am still amazed that no large corporate bought/leased it.
There is zero chance of it being put back into use as offices as the re-wiring bill would be astronomical.
Anyway, here are some photos I took....I only have a cheapo digital camera so apologise that they are not great but I am happy with them for what the camera cost!
Thanks again to Minicab for offering to show me the ropes as it were and also good to meet Mute as well.
The building in the early 80's
Post office recorded delivery stickers put to good use..
Random electricals...
Telephone stuff I think..
Security:
From the roof....this was a great place to spend 30 minutes on a pretty clear evening:
The writing's on the wall:
I'm sure mute has some great pics too...look forward to seeing them.
