Got it some time ago as a display piece when I heard of the fletchers demolition. It looks cool but honestly I’d rather it went to someone who’d enjoy the piece a bit more instead of it being sat inside a cupboard doing fuck all. It won’t really be usable as it is missing the whole front unit and has been sat in an abandoned factory for 20 odd years haha

Not asking for any money as I’m not after that, would just rather it went to someone who’d actually appreciate it a bit more

Yep. When I saw that everything was getting crushed and either thrown into skips or buried I figured that I shouldn’t leave that to happen

I’d hope so. I didn’t have the space to carry those and as demolition progressed you couldn’t get to the front of the mill but I know a lot of the stuff inside is just in rubble currently. Whilst I don’t have photos I can see bits and pieces of stuff inside the rubble so I wouldn’t be surprised if the typewriters are there too
