Lead or Rumour info - Existing mines in the Selby super pit

I've spent the last few weeks researching the Selby super pit and it's mines. Wistow Mine, Stillingfleet Mine, Riccall Mine, North Selby Mine, Whitemoor Mine and at Gascoigne Wood Mine are the 6 pits that are all linked, yet obviously shut down around 20 years ago. I went to stillingfleet mine and it's totally deserted (great visit), but it seems all the others are demolished. Anyone know if this is true

Pretty much now yeh. Demolished or in use as business parks etc.

Selby North Mine is interesting. I had a mooch around and could see a certain building that had the doors welded closed and then the welds had clearly been cut, and then the door had been secured a different way.
Makes me wonder if access is still there?
