I came across this pumping station when browsing a water course map of the city and is situated under one of the busiest roads running through the city centre of Hull. From street level there's not many clues as to where this is just a 10ft high steel vent coming out the island on Ferensway. There's not much info on this but Id take an educated guess and say it was built around the early 1900s judging from the pipe work. Newer EX rated fixtures have been installed but i believe this site is now non operational.
Enjoy the images.
