shit u didn’t know ab hhm:
- we used to throw lil pieces of wet tissue at those figures on the ceiling in the dayroom (not the stairs) and we would try and hit their nipples
- the fireplace downstairs is now boarded up because i tried to climb it to escape
- that tiny corridor your in would have girls kicking and screaming being dragged through such a tiny gap
- we held a fake wedding at the top of those stairs
- we pretended to be nuns in a monastery at 3am one time
- we laughed, we cried, we screamed, we were restrained and abused and we were kids, it wasn’t all anything.. all good, or all bad.
the youngest would stand at the bottom of those stairs and play pretend at force-feeding each other
this was our life. x

Ah thanks for explaining! It does help indeed! This one is certainly fresh as hell so perhaps should have gone there first!
I think it should have, but its out now seen by 83 members but probably 100s of lurkers. It would of gotten out eventually, they always do. But we live and learn. Just a heads up for any future bangers you find :)
I worked at this hospital uo till it closed .it was a wonderful place to work.
The manor house was full of secret corridors and spaces that were closed off.
In the reception area, if you lifted up the carpet it had a hatch that took you down to the cellar.

I worked in the manor house. It could be pretty creepy. At times In one area you'd get a feeling someone was behind you. I felt it only once, others had felt it.
The night staff never went downstairs alone because of uneasy feelings .
I was always getting to find out more about the Manor House .
I loved working there . The management wasn’t the best but on the whole the patients and staff were amazing .
It makes me sad when I drive past and see the state it’s in

The CQC wanted those ceiling paintings painted over , lucky they were all listed so couldn’t be done . I worked on Kennet for 2 years before it was closed

Yeah we went through a gap in the fence, near some sheds etc, then walked out into the main courtyard and saw all the cameras and a Ford fiesta security car.. then saw 2 angry security guards lol
I drove past today and saw the gap in fence at that point .
I don’t think it has anyone now in there just cameras . Used to work there up till it closed
