Yet another Powerstation from Belgium
IM Powerstation (coal-fired) was one of the major electricity supplier in the region - closed in 2006.
After hours of dodgy driving I finally get there. Place looks really impressive... First explored Cooling Tower - scale is just enormous... I've never seen something like that before
After some time spent there, I get on the other side of the river/canal. Spent sometime trying to find my way in. While walking around the building bumped into a guy ( who well scared me at first coz I was sure that he is a security guy
- who actually turned out to be another explorer - unfortunately he didn't speak any English, and I don't understand French so we couldn't really share any urbex experience...
Anyway I finally get inside and well it was like a Heaven for pipe, turbines, all in great scale - lovers
inside Powerplant
one of the control panels
turbines & pipes
amazing windows
