While this is a derelict industrial warehouse building, the empty warehouses are by no means the centrepoint of this place. Access is not obvious here, until you find it...
The main attraction here is a fantastic clockface with a good pratform offering some great views at the top. There is a lot of building works going on around the access so get there before construction is finished! If you have a GOOD torch this place would be worth going up to at night I'm sure.
After getting exposed to piles and piles of pigeon shit, and countless mad birds I reached the top and got some great views of Dundee.
I am worried I should've worn a respirator however... i doubt the tissue stuffed in my mouth would've done anything.
I took these pics on my camera phone, but they will give you a picture of the views anyway.
These views are excellent when you're there and worth the climb, there were seagull chicks or something on top, so i couldn't stay up long. It was a bit cold and rather windy as well, but not too bad. Would be even better on a sunny day I think. Everything seems mostly intact, despite the pigeons etc, so don't worry about falling through floorboards (I accept no responsibility if you do
).
I only just noticed the police car parked near the bottom of this pic...
And finally, a couple for any trainspotters among us...
