With maltings in mind, KooK and I headed off across the snowy wastes of West Yorkshire to our neighbouring county of Lincolnshire.
Trudging through knee deep snow we found our way into this derelict section of Lincoln’s main Hospital site.
Closed since the late 90’s, history is thin on the ground with regards to the specific clinical services provided by these buildings, on the ground floor Postman pat and other characters were painted on windows so we assumed something to do with kids... genius.
Didn’t manage to find the Iron Lung, however, we didn’t really want to hang around long downstairs as there were workmen milling around - disappointing.
Here are a few photographs.
Don’t eat the yellow snow.
Thanks for looking.
