The History
Littlebrook was an oil-fired power station. The station was built in the 1980’s and is located in Kent on south bank of the River Thames next to the Queen Elizabeth 2 Bridge and the Dartford Tunnel. Littlebrook had an installed generating capacity of 1245MW - enough to meet the needs of over 1 million households.
The original Littlebrook Power Station first started generating electricity in 1939. The current station is the fourth to be built on the site, and began commercial operation in 1981.
Littlebrook Power Station had three turbine generating units - two of the generating units were in commercial operation and one is in reserve. In addition, the station has three sets of gas-turbine units capable of providing additional support to the National Grid system when required.

Having driven passed this literally hundreds of times I’ve always thought about doing it. My eyes were always drawn to the white art deco building in front but I believe from what I’ve read that that’s empty inside, So decided that one day id have a look at the bigger building. Myself and @slayaaaa have driven up to Littlebrook D a number of times and always talked about the what ifs of going in and having a mooch. I’ve read the reports about D on here and it seemed doable albeit a little tricky. Well a few days ago we decided to give it a go. With few hints and tips from various other explorers and a lot of goggle earting we had a rough idea of where we were going. We met up with @mrstewie and @oakley and off we headed. After a minor palisade/my leg incident we found a way in and entered the main compound. Holy fuck this place is tall. @oakley reminded us more than once that the chimney was actually the 4th largest in the UK and it became the running joke for the evening lol
Inside the place is a maze of platforms, ladders, stairs and walkways and you have to keep your wits about you so not to get spotted as the floors are just mesh and you can see from top to bottom in some places.
The views from the roof are amazing and getting that close to the QE2 Bridge was pretty cool.
As always enjoy the pics
