Llanberis Bomb Store
Visited a few weeks ago with usual urbex partner Alphonse Gangitano, only just got round to getting reports done now. Due to spending a lot of this year abroad i've had limited opportunities to go for an explore, upon returning i needed a fix and one Tuesday evening we decided to make the drive over to Llanberis. It was cold and wet but this did not deter us, just wanted to get the rush of success and getting in somewhere again! It was a bit of an impulsive "fuck it lets get in the car now and go" explore and probably should of done a bit more research first, would have saved us a bit of time on the evening but we did get down to see the main lake in the quarry. Was an interesting scramble down in the dark, the highs of when you think you are onto a winner and the hopes dashed upon being in the wrong part to finally finding the right way in! Was a nice wander round inside and i even surprised myself getting through the hole in the door to the former detonation area. Shit ourselves on leaving though as nearly couldn't get out... haha.
When we started to get excited thinking we were close...
