So last time we went here it was dark and we only saw half of it. So this time we returned on a nice winter morning in Talgarth.

We spent around 3 hours in there, so there's still plenty to see. Look out for the white van man, let's just say he's not the friendliest welshman I've ever met.

Just to note this place is in a pretty poor state in some places. Mostly upstairs of course. In spite of that it's still a good little explore.

Without further adieu here are some piccys from the explore.

Probably in best condition out of all the buildings. Still has its slates on the roof.

Workshops. Milling machine?

Nice view of Admin building and workshops from the east wing

The place is still lively, we saw a few fellow urbexers on our travels as well as some kids?? Which was surprising. Any who...

So to sum it all up then, it was a great little mooch and somehow most of it still remains but not sure for how long.

Thanks for viewing.

Never seen the workshops before. Anything else in or around there?

Not really the workshops as such - its businesses that were in the courtyard before the business park went bust. Down the bottom of the courtyard is a unit full of lathes and other machinery. You can also get down to the original water pump in the court yard. Until the 1970's it used its own water supply rather than being conencted to the mains (hence the newer/shitter water tower) - there is a large underground resovoir which is way out in one of the corners of the site (you can get to it if you carry on up hospital road) and it was drawn down to boilers etc.

Nice to see it again, although the continued decay is sad. A few interesting angles on things too - like the wide shots through the central spaces.
