Bought this today from a railway swapmeet thing

Anyone know if new glass is available ? its Bevelled too !

Haven't a clue about replacements but if it's just light scratches you could try polishing them out with something like this

Not wanting to stalk you mattdonut, but there was a guy selling bevelled glass spares at Quorn today. Perhaps he will be there next time, 25th June FYI.

Nice, looks like a standard Premier behind that huge reflector? Does it come off?

Yeah the reflector was an "extra", I think for the railway industry so it puts out a beam rather than a spread that you would want in a mine. They fetch a little more with the reflector (and rightly so)

The handle is also a detachable extra, instead of the hook for hanging it on a mine wall.

I'd be interested in seeing their catalog to see what other extras were available!

I was after one with a hook
but i saw this and the condition made me want it

Well, that's pretty much a standard mine lamp behind that huge reflector. I'll have to keep my eyes open for these.

this lamp is cool, I got one like this too, what do you need a glass for ?

It's a perfect size. Not too bulky, about the side of a tin of beans. But lasts about 3h on a fill.
