This was once part of the now demo'd Doxford shipyard,
resides under the shadow of the Queen Alexandra bridge. https://www.28dayslater.co.uk/threads/queen-alexandra-bridge-sunderland-august-2018.114254/
The current warehouse type buildings opened in the 1970's by Willian Doxford & Sons 1840-1986,
then became Pallion shipyard in the 1980's which closed in 2008.
Some of the site is currently used by steel fabricators Pallion engineering,
while the rest remains redundant as there isn't much ship building nowadays.

Has to be the biggest indoor dry Dock left in England! Pretty sure this is where TSS Manxmann was ripped up a few years ago, saw a few amazing shots from @Dempsey and Brickman, they explored the whole ship!
