Report - RAF Sculthorpe - Norfolk

Managed to find this one by chance, originally we headed out to find RAF west Raynham.

Unfortunately it’s all closed off now and used as industrial estate. A bloke we was speaking to pointed us to Sculthorpe.

We was not disappointed.

History.
All I know about this is that was built in the 1940’s and believe it was used during the Cold War. Then on to a training facility and French, Australian and New Zealand air force were stationed there.

Explore.
Nice and easy to find once come across the airstrips, just off a public footpath you’ll find the first buildings.
Around 5 living quarters buildings and also a mess hall.

Not much left inside but very good Greenery growing through and some not bad graffiti.

Funny, I was at Sculthorpe and West Raynham today actually. They're both very good local ones and I always make sure I visit at least one of them annually. Looking forward to seeing more reports from you.

Yes that's a nice little one! There's some old cars in the woods very close to that aswell. Get stuck in but beware it's very addictive haha.

lol, that's my old armchair! me and some mates got pissed up years ago and dragged it in there, it's sat there for at least 6 years maybe more. There was an old tv we put in the fireplace for a photo, but some little shit smashed it.
