Report - Rugeley 'B' Power Station - January 2017

Probably not really worth a report other then to say if you have even a slight interest in power station exploring and haven't been here yet get your ass moving now! Im a bit late to the party but it seems thats often the way with stuff thats local, it just gets put off and put off until you have a spare evening. Luckily i think i put it off for just about the optimum amount of time really. The station is still pretty much all still there apart from the one set of LP turbines. Its also totally deserted and lit up like a proper Mary Celeste. Spent a good few hours wandering around like i owned the place.

Probably got to be in my top 5 ive seen. Boiler house and control room probably not that special but the turbine hall, especially on the lower level with its chequered Terrazzo floor is fantastic.
