The explore:

Initially made a visit here when doing a mass Llanelli explore where we went to a load of places, then came back recently to document more and re-explore with more of the group. First explore went fine, just your average explore lol/
When we came back for attempt 2 with the rest of the group.
Anyway we explored like usual, until it came to getting out. I myself spotted a security guard threw a glass window (I dont think he noticed us) so we ran to the roof and waited a little.
@A-DOG managed to get down a different way but as I was getting down the security guard came over then spotted me, he just asked the usual questions of "how many are there of you", "how did you get in" and "the security camera footage will be passed onto the police". He was a chill guy though to be fair :lol
Anyways enough yapping, here's the spot history.

Place history:

The building first came into life back in the 1800s after being "the Cambrian Hotel", the Barbican took over the whole building in the 1980s, transforming the old popular café on the second floor into a second bar, according to the article too 2 floors wasn't even enough because the que to get in would reach around the corner!

It was managed by Peter Qualters for around 8 years from 1989 to 1997 and said the much-loved pub was busy every night of the week.
In 1992, the manager was named Llanelli’s Favourite Landlord and The Barbican was awarded ‘Best Pint in Town’, then in 1995 it was awarded Pub of the Year, in local paper, the Llanelli News.
Decades later it was renamed to "Storm" (As seen in pictures below)

In the late 90s/early 2000s it was added to the long list of venues to close its doors
Plans somewhat vaguely exist for it to be demolished some point in the far away future

A shame to think that in the many visits I’ve done to Llanelli for my family, the only proper explore I’ve ever done was that little brickworks in Horeb, even with all the lovely stuff around

Never even got to do Baglan Bay station, that was a gut wrencher (especially as it’s the only chance at any mega industry without seccy I’d ever have)

At least you can do it though! Will love to see more posts from you, even if it reminds me of what I’ve missed
