What a hidden gem! The towers are fantastic, but unclimbable. But the superb engine house is like nothing I have ever seen! Decorated with 10 busts of key figuers in the cotton spinning business. It's things like this that are priceless and I really hope that it is saved. The actual works has been demolished I think, although the offices are still standing (only just) and look to be under conversion. Only a small explore, but what a chunk of Industrial revolution history!
