While enjoying a visit to Estonia, hired a car - which was ridiculously easily and headed east. Ended up down the country roads and happened across this place near to a farm. A lone man was standing beside it but didn't seem to mind our presense, was disappointed when we didn't have any cigarettes though.

    ~ History
Vanamõisa manor was built around 1660 and in 1803 it belonged to the Von Brevern family, who kept the manor until 1939. With it's 300 hectars of land and vodka-factory, it was one of the biggest German's households in Republic of Estonia. The main building is made with Neo-Renaissance style and was completed in 1859, in Gregor von Brevern's time. At the moment the manor is in private ownership.

I think that it is currently being looked at by the European council for restoration.

On with the photos ~ enjoy :)

It was pretty stripped inside with large amounts of graffiti on the ground floor.
