    Hi all,

I turned this place up whilst researching a local building (I'm a masters of architecture student). I recently moved into Birmingham and have already done a couple of little excursions into local sites. I was taught by an old mentor that the best way to understand a place is to stand in it, and what with all the wacky and undevelopped sites we use, that soon turned into a good challenge!

I'd love to meet with other UE guys. The urban fabric is so knotted around here, and I'm sure there are tunnels and towers that require ... ehem, surveying. :D
If you fancy showing a newbie around drop me a PM.

    Cheers!

    Welcome...

Get a few reports up! I'd be happy to meet up if you'd like to see a few things one evening...

So far I've been up around the old St. Paul's school on Legge Lane, although I'd like to revisit it and get into it... 2m high chain wire fence is in the way :violin Although I could talk all day about the site, I haven't completed what I want to do there, so no report but Flickr has some photos. I'm on the look out for new places around here, and I have a couple of ideas but it's finding the time!

It's not that great in there, it was used as offices after being a school so there is little left of it's interior.

There are a few places in the jewellery quarter but all have seen better days as explores.

If you've got transport Incanite in Smethwick is well worth a look and (was a few weeks ago) very good indeed...
