I thought I posted these already but I can't find it. Perhaps it got deleted?

Anyway this was my first stop for my trip up north during the holidays. At the time it hadn't been seen by many but it's recently become a popular spot to check out and it's also recently become more heavily watched by security and police.

During our trip it was a breeze, my friend wanted to take the building front on and hop a fence but I figured if we did a bit of walking around we'd find another way in and turns out I was right. :)

This place was a little nerve racking since it's very close to a busy road that seems to have a lot of police activity, we heard sirens the entire time we were there.

At the time I knew nothing about the history of this place but from a PM on UER I found out a lot about the place when someone gave me the name of the place.

The pumping station was built on an island created in 1802 from the dams used to power several near by mills. The site was purchased in 1881 by the local water company and the buildings were built between 1881 to 1911, with some buildings dating back to 1881, and it includes a brick 1882 pumping station, a tall filtration tower, and a huge underground infrastructure. Operations ceased in 1990 and the site has been sitting vacant ever since. There currently are several proposals to try and rehab the buildings for modern use.
