This was ` plan b ` - a long shot resurection from 2 year old recce notes that i never followed up

    waterside mill [/url]

Not much history on the internut – will have to take a peek at burnley library , I assume the date on the lintel is corret and it was built in 1914 – which seems quite late for a prime canal side location – but hey – it could be a replacement for a previous mill

If it wasn’t for the vandalism and general decay – this would be a very nice little building – but the idiots have engineered its demise and now Fuckwits want to declare it an ` eyesore ` and demolish it to replace it with REAL eyeseore – shoe box houses .
    burco dean appliances

Were / are a major manufacturer of electrical goods - the infamous ` baby burco ` was nanufactured here :

As were dimplex brand fires and other heating appliances

Manufacturing ceased in 2008 , the company relocated to a new business park about 2km away – but admin , stock holding and distribution remained

But According to paperwork – the premises were fully vacated in march 2010

And now the council idiots are clamouring for demolition

    The explore :

Security is now reduced to ` random patrols ` - no power no assigned guards – the cctv is inactive – but they do visit – a muddy tyreprint in a drying puddle puts them onsite in the last 3~5 days

Actually – I was more worried about feral chavscum – as the local estate is , to put it bluntly – peasant central

    Much strippage

But they left some very shiney stuff
