    Hi people,

This is new to me, both urbex and posting anything on a forum so please excuse anything i may be doing wrong!

So, me and two of my photographer pals decided to investigate Whittingham Asylum, in lancashire last week. We found this by mistake a few weeks ago, and came back prepared. This exploration was planned and done without us having any knowledge of urbex forums. Since doing some research after the exploration, we now know that whittingham has been explored to death, so i understand these images and this report is nothing new. Instead of posting any lengthy report on its history (as im sure your all evry familiar with it!)

I really do feel hooked on urbex from this explore, and cant wait to do another! We have our eyes on another interesting place tomorrow!

here is a brief write up on the asylum:

Whittingham Hospital (formerly Whittingham Mental Hospital and Whittingham Asylum) closed in 1995 following the closure of many of the country's large asylums and in the shadow of serious allegations of organisational failure and patient abuse in the 1960s.

So, i wont post any rotten corridors, but just some of the images that i think might be interesting to people. I have about 500 images for the 9 hour explore (9 hours!!! its that big!)

    I hope you like
