Went on a random trip to Wales at the weekend and had a flag pop up on the GPS so decided to investigate. Little did i know that the little flag was indeed on of the best ROC posts i have ever seen (Even if it is just the exterior) unfortunatly the post was locked up with two stonking padlocks but maybe for the better as im sure the inside has been restored to its full glory! Pics:

Hangar D3, formerly used as part of RAF Wroughton and now used for the storage of large exhibits from the london science museum! Must be some fun stuff in there! :)

    Getting closer!

GZI Mount and entry vent, all painted up and in very good condition!

The rear vent with something that looks like a weather monitor!? This wasnt there 10 years ago!

Another close up of the rear vent with new power cabling! Wouldnt be suprised if someone lived here full time!

The chunky padlocks and newer style hatch, just wish i could get down there!!

The road that seems to go forever!

A view of Hangar D3 moving back to the permiter gate

Awesome view of the Wiltshire countryside from here!
