I found out about this little place just before I went on my holidays, we were in the area so I decided to go down and check it out. Placed upon the dunes of Budle Bay, this little bunker would have had a large field gun inside which could be used to kill any attacking forces.

    Mounting plate for the gun

Not sure what these holes were for...shells perhaps?

    Exterior shot.

    Hope you enjoyed :thumb
