    History
"The Wycliffe Centre has been home to Wycliffe Bible Translators for over 40 years, and conference guests who have enjoyed these beautiful premises have supported Bible translation and literacy through staying with us." Providing accommodation for wycliffe workers and day care for children in the surrounding village the Wycliffe Centre although mainly residential included a small pool and daycare facilities, the daycare shut down in 2006 and Wycliffe bible translators began their move out in November 2013. "The move has came about as the Wycliffe Centre was deemed to be bigger than the organisation's needs." More info on the work that Wycliffe does can be found through a simple google search.

The Centre has ~20 buildings, however only those on the far end of the site were unlocked, one of which a multi storey residential. All the insides were stripped of furniture, and still in excellent state (even 2.5 years after abandonment) due to it's location away from roads & public knowledge - no graffiti seen.

The tents seemed to be there as part of some 2014 second chance youth scheme from some banners that were lying around.
